Customer case
So Storey Interior secures the capital to keep the projects going
Company name: Storey Interior

From analysis, color and form to delivery and installation, Storey Interior Design Group creates offices that work in everyday life and reflect the company’s identity. When furniture needs to be installed in large projects, capital needs to be available throughout the entire process.
That's why Storey Interior chose Invoier
Designing an office environment is a process that spans a long period: from the initial idea and material selection to the final piece of furniture being installed. For a company like Storey Interior, which follows the client throughout the entire process, this means that the capital requirement is rarely evenly distributed and that certain periods require large investments, while revenue comes in at a completely different pace.
Traditional loans, with fixed amounts and long repayment schedules, are ill-suited for a company that constantly switches between projects of different sizes and payment terms. That’s why Storey Interior began financing its invoices on an ongoing basis through Invoier, project by project, to allow the capital to move at the same pace as the business, without being tied to long-term loans.
– With Invoier’s services, we get a more even cash flow and can continue to drive the projects forward, says Stefan Görgensen, owner.
”If there is money, you can go all out when the opportunities arise”
The challenge
Storey Interior is often involved even before the first floor plan is on paper, and then follows the project all the way to the finished office environment. This means that the company often has to make large purchases long before the customer has paid – sometimes with a payment period of 30 to 60 days with the customer.
– When we are purchasing furniture for our projects, we need to secure the transaction in a good way. Our suppliers may need to be paid before the customer’s invoice has expired, and then we need to be able to cover the time in between, says Stefan Görgensen.
The solution
By financing its invoices through Invoier, Storey Interior gains access to capital earlier, not only for single large projects, but as part of its ongoing financial planning.
– It creates a better balance in our accounts and ensures that we always have liquid funds. That way, we don’t have to worry about the liquidity running out in the middle of a project, but can keep both the projects and the marketing running, says Stefan Görgensen.
Such a liquidity gap often arises precisely when a company is growing and taking on larger deals; in these cases, financing is about creating room for growth, not covering losses. The availability of capital also allows Storey Interior to continue developing its business and seize new business opportunities immediately when they arise.
– If there is money, you can go all out when the opportunities arise, says Stefan Görgensen.
